Basic Preparation:

You will need: square pan 2/3 cup milk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter) 1 egg. Muffins: 1/2 cup milk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter) 1 egg. Heat oven to 375F. Lightly grease pan or line muffin pan with paper baking cups. Stir together milk, oil, egg and cornbread mix until blended. Spoon batter into pan or fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake as directed or until light golden brown. For square pan, cool 5 minutes before cutting and serving. For muffins, cool 15 minutes; gently loosen and remove from pan. Cool completely and store in tightly covered container. Yield: 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan bake 27-29 minutes; 12 standard muffins 14-16 minutes; 24-28 mini muffins 11-13 minutes.
